In this story, we meet Jennifer Walters: a.k.a. She-Hulk, and learn about her unique ties to the Hulk. Jennifer is a strong-willed lawyer, dedicated to protecting the innocent. She's also Bruce Banner's cousin! When Jennifer is injured, she's saved by the Incredible Hulk. The only way Bruce Banner can save her life involves an experimental treatment. Exposed to the same forces that originally turned Bruce into the Hulk, Jennifer also becomes a giant and powerful green warrior: the Sensational She-Hulk. Both powerful and intelligent, She-Hulk can fight battles the Hulk cannot.
