History Maker Bios: Thomas Edison
It's hard to believe that one man could invent so many of the world's most important innovations, but Thomas Edison did! In addition to inventing modern electricity, motion pictures, and the phonograph, he patented over one thousand other inventions during his lifetime. Even though people considered him a natural genius, Edison worked up to twenty hours a day, seven days a week on his many experiments.
