Every Girl Tells a Story: A Celebration of Girls Speaking Their Minds

When Girl Scouts of the USA wanted to create a record of girls in America today, they turned to photographer and documentary filmmaker Carolyn Jones. Approaching her subjects with complete openness, Jones photographed and recorded the unfiltered words of 96 American girls -- some of them Girl Scouts, some of them not; all of them direct, unflinchingly honest, and each, in her own way, astonishing.

What are girls doing to change the world? What do they feel strongly about?
