Dear One

Twelve-year-old Feni's mother has offered to take in a friend's pregnant teenage daughter. Feni and the streetwise Rebecca from Harlem dislike each other on sight; but both girls slowly overcome their prejudices and pull together to help Rebecca decide what is best for herself and for her baby.
