This board book and CD introduces babies and toddlers to the magic of music, rhythm, and dance. Curious George taps along and dances to music at home, with his stuffed animals, around town, and all the way to bed. The sweet, rhyming text and classical music can be enjoyed together or on their own for a joyful musical experience anytime. Tips are included on sharing music and movement with your new baby.

The classical CD includes Mozart's Quartet in F Major, in three movements, and Bach's Quartet in E-flat Major, in two movements by the Christy Oboe Quartet for twenty-five minutes of listening time.

Hans Augusto Rey was born in Hamburg, Germany in 1898. As a child, he spent much of his free time in that city's famous Hagenbeck Zoo drawing animals. After serving in the army during World War I, he studied philology and natural science at the University of Hamburg. He then married Margret Rey and they moved to Montmartre for four years. The manuscript for the first Curious George books was one of the few items the Reys carried with them on their bicycles when they escaped from Paris in 1940. Eventually, they made their way to the United States, and Curious George was published in 1941. Curious George has been published in many languages, including French, German, Japanese, Afrikaans, and Norwegian. Additional Curious George books followed, as well as such other favorites as CECILY G. AND THE NINE MONKEYS and FIND THE CONSTELLATIONS.

The Christy Oboe Quartet includes three siblings: oboist Judy Christy, violinist Jay Christy, and violist Jan-Marie Christy Joyce. Cellist John Marcy, Judy's husband, is the fourth member of the ensemble. The Christy siblings grew up on a farm in Maryland before moving to Florida in 1982. They began studying music at an early age, each taking up several different instruments. Their mother, a violinist and Suzuki instructor, gave them their early training on string instruments, and their father, a trumpeter and band director, started them on wind instruments so that they could play in his bands. All four members of the quartet now hold titled positions in orchestras in the southeastern United States.
