Caterpillarology

Paleontology is the study of ancient life, such as dinosaurs. Anthropology is the study of humans. Caterpillarology is the study of caterpillars, the familiar creatures we often see lounging on leaves. To be a caterpillarologist, all that's necessary is an interest in gently exploring the lives of these little neighbors. Most of us have seen lots of caterpillars, and we know that caterpillars will grow up to be butterflies or moths.
