MARTHA SPEAKS is an animated series starring Martha, a beloved family dog who is accidentally fed alphabet soup, giving her the power of speech and the chance to speak her mind to anyone that will listen. Based on the children’s book series by Susan Meddaugh, each episode features two 11-minute stories that engage kids and expand their vocabulary.
The MARTHA SPEAKS Reading Buddies Program pairs kindergarten students with 4th or 5th graders to meet one-on-one for ten, 45-minute classroom sessions. The buddy pairs share books, talk, and do fun activities together, while learning and using new vocabulary words.
